The Osborn Bay Resort is a proposed development project in Grant County, Washington that will consist of approximately 600 homes. The project is currently in the planning stages for approval by the Grant County Planning Department, with an approval for development projected to be around June 0f 2008.
The Resort will be created on 180 acres of land in the Upper Grand Coulee near Electric City, Washington. The Resort property is located adjacent to the Grand Coulee Golf Course, and will have access to Banks Lake. Banks Lake is a 28 mile long recreation lake, with fabulous fishing all year around, wonderful sandy beaches, and is known as a tremendous water sport lake for boating, water skiing, wake boarding, personal water craft fun, tubing, day camping on various islands, cliff jumping, and many other activities.
The Osborn Bay Resort is planned to have a variety of amenities starting with the 18 hole Banks Lake Golf Course. There are plans for outdoor swimming pools, splash pools, bike trails, play areas for children, lots of lawn and green spaces, and a proposed new 9 hole executive par 3 golf course. The homes will consist of a variety of Town Homes, Garden Villas which are side-by-side style homes, individual homes, and Executive Homesites for owners to create their own custom home.
There will be CC&R's to protect the integrity of value for all of the homeowners, as well as a Homeowners Association for the maintenance of the resort property.
Osborn Bay Resort is envisioned to be a Care Free Lifestyle resort so that the homeowners are free to come and go at their leisure, and without any concerns about the exterior upkeep and yard work of their home. Also in the planning of the Resort, there will be a retail center for conveniences such as a coffee shop, pizza place, and other shops for the homeowners to enjoy.
